About Marta Meigs Miskolczy

With a background in education and athletics, I offer an informed approach to the college planning process.

I have an MA in Educational Leadership (Columbia University), and 20+ years of experience working as both director of admissions and director of marketing. I am an expert in connecting with students, helping them showcase their strengths, telling their stories, and helping them connect with their best options for their future endeavors.

I have also coached middle school and high school athletes (x-c running), worked as an academic college prep counselor, and developed a college essay writing lab.

I currently serve on the alumni board of my alma mater. I am a HECA Member (Advancing Excellence in Higher Education Consulting/member in good standing), board member of College Consultants of Colorado, member of Rocky Mountain Association for College Admission Counseling (RMACAC) and have completed UCLA's the Business of College Consulting, Columbia's Advanced college advising program classes, and was recently named a Cowin fellow for Columbia's Financial Literacy Program for high school classrooms.

I am a working board member for Friends of Harriman State Park and help allocate funding as a member of the City of Steamboat Springs Arts and Culture Coalition.
